HISTORY
Bangert Computer Systems, Inc. was started in 1983 by Richard and Kurt Bangert. This father-son team has watched their company grow from a small, local computer store into a nationally recognized software dealership firm.

In the early years, Bangert Computer Systems sold computers, retail software, and peripheral devices. During this period of time, Richard Bangert developed software for the fuel and oil products distribution industry. With the advent of this software, "The Petroleum Manager", the nature of Bangert's business was forever changed.

After installing nearly 150 Petroleum Manager systems, several customers requested that Bangert also provide software for their other businesses. Consistently, Bangert Computer Systems' customers asked for software to fit the needs of their construction companies. Kurt and Richard began an intense search for a construction-specific software system that could serve as a solution to the challenges their clients put forth. Sage Timberline Office software quickly surfaced as the software that could meet those challenges. In April of 1988, Bangert Computer Systems elected to become a dealer of Sage Timberline Office software.


GOALS
Our goal has always been to be the #1 supplier of construction software systems in the Midwest. We work to meet that goal by offering what we consider to be the best, most finely crafted software products available today. Over the years we have expanded from our Burlington, Iowa headquarters into St. Louis and most recently into the Kansas City area. Our clientele consists of both the largest and smallest construction companies in the region. We will strive to continue expanding that customer base.

Our goal to be #1 could not be met without our consulting and training staff. Early on in our business' life we recognized that top quality instruction and services are the key to having happy customers. Today, the majority of our employees are members of our consulting staff.
